Flowering time: June-October. Annual, occasionally perennial.

Small pale-yellow flowers, petals equal or shorter than sepals.
Fruit more/less equal to stalk, swollen, curved, contracted into short style.
Shorter than fruit of Creeping Yellow-cress (R.sylvestris).
Lower leaves pinnately-lobed, toothed lobes, hairless. Stem leaves unstalked.
Height: to 50cm.

Habitat: Damp, bare ground, winter-flooded. Colonist of wetland sites.
Also damp paths, tracks. Found throughout Ireland.
